Job Description:
Aavishka is seeking a qualified and experienced Oiler to join a DSV DP2 vessel operating under an Aramco project.
The successful candidate will support the engineering department with the safe and efficient operation, monitoring and maintenance of engine-room machinery and equipment. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Oiler on similar types of vessels and be ready for immediate joining.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assisting the engineering team with the operation and routine maintenance of engine-room machinery.
Monitoring machinery and equipment and reporting abnormalities or defects.
Supporting preventive maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of machinery.
Assisting engineers during repairs and engine-room operations.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organized engine-room working environment.
Following vessel, offshore and Aramco safety procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Oiler on similar types of vessels.
Able Seafarer Engine / Oiler (III/5) COP issued by the candidate's home country.
All certificates and documents must have at least 12 months validity.
Candidate must not hold a valid Saudi Iqama visa.
Valid STCW certificates applicable to the position.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Relevant offshore and safety certificates as required for the assignment.
