Job Description

Sheffield Energies is seeking experienced Oilers to join a deepwater pipelay and heavy crane construction vessel.

The successful candidates will assist the engine department with machinery inspections, lubrication, routine maintenance and engine-room housekeeping, reporting defects or abnormal equipment conditions to the engineering officers.

Requirements

• Previous Oiler experience on offshore or commercial vessels preferred.
• Previous pipelay, heavy-lift or offshore construction vessel experience is an advantage.
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant certificates of proficiency, as applicable.
• Valid travel documents and seaman’s book.
• Knowledge of engine-room safety, lubrication and routine maintenance.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Good command of English.
• Availability for mobilization in December 2026, subject to client approval.
