Job Description

Apremar is seeking an experienced Oiler to join an Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel (AHTS).

The successful candidate will assist the engineering team with machinery inspections, lubrication, routine maintenance and engine-room housekeeping to support safe and reliable vessel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation and monitoring of engine-room machinery.
• Carry out routine inspections and lubrication tasks.
• Support planned maintenance and basic repair activities.
• Monitor machinery conditions and report abnormalities.
• Maintain engine-room cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Follow onboard safety procedures and instructions from engineering officers.

Requirements

• Relevant Oiler experience and certificates of proficiency, as applicable.
• Minimum 2 years of experience on offshore vessels.
• At least 6 months of experience on the same vessel type (AHTS).
• Previous engine-room experience on offshore vessels.
• Valid STCW certificates appropriate to the position.
• Valid medical fitness certificate, passport and seaman’s book.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• ADNOC approval eligibility is an advantage.

Employment Details

Vessel: AHTS
Rotation Options: 4 months on / 30 days off, or 2–3 months on / 1 month off, depending on the assignment.
