Job Description:
Ocean Achiever Marine Services (OAMS) is recruiting an experienced Oiler to join an AHTS vessel operating in an offshore environment. The successful candidate will support the engine department with routine machinery operations, maintenance, cleaning, and general engine room duties.
The position follows a 4 months on / 30 days off (unpaid) rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist engineers with routine engine room operations and machinery maintenance.
Monitor machinery and equipment and report abnormalities or defects.
Carry out cleaning, lubrication, and general engine room housekeeping.
Assist with maintenance and repair activities as directed by engineering officers.
Follow all onboard safety and environmental procedures.
Requirements:
Valid National COP III/5.
Minimum 1 year of experience as an Oiler on AHTS vessels.
Valid STCW certificates.
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Good understanding of engine room safety procedures.
Ability to work effectively as part of an engineering team.
