Job Description:
A leading dredging company is seeking an experienced Motorman to join a Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD) operating in Europe / Netherlands. This is a short-term offshore assignment with joining scheduled for 12 August 2026.
Open Position:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the operation, maintenance, and repair of engine room machinery and auxiliary equipment.
- Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Support the engineering department in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
- Maintain engine room cleanliness and comply with company safety procedures.
- Follow international maritime regulations and company maintenance standards.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Previous experience as a Motorman is mandatory.
- Experience working onboard a TSHD (Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger) is highly preferred.
- Valid Seafarer's Medical Certificate.
- Seaman's Book and Passport.
- Good English communication skills.
