Job Description:
iPS Powerful People is seeking a Motorman for an Offshore Installation Vessel operating in UK waters. The Motorman will work under the supervision of the engineering officers and support the operation and maintenance of the vessel's machinery spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor engine-room machinery through routine rounds, inspections and daily checks.
- Operate and assist with the maintenance of engines, pumps, generators and auxiliary systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment faults and support repair activities.
- Organise tools, spare parts and working areas.
- Report machinery defects and abnormalities to the engineering team.
- Maintain engine-room housekeeping standards.
- Assist engineers with planned maintenance and operational tasks.
Requirements:
- Valid right-to-work permit, with EU status preferred.
- Valid HUET including CA-EBS.
- Valid GWO Working at Heights and Manual Handling certification.
- Valid Chester Step certificate.
- Previous engine-room or Motorman experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform maintenance and operational tasks under supervision.
