Job Description:
Select Offshore is currently recruiting an experienced Motorman for a long-term offshore opportunity onboard a Jack-Up Vessel. Candidates must hold a valid UK Work Permit and the required offshore certifications. Previous offshore experience is preferred.
Open Position:
Motorman – Jack-Up Vessel
• Vessel Type: Jack-Up Vessel
• Rotation: 8 weeks
• Employment: Long-term offshore opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
As per company and vessel requirements, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with the operation and maintenance of engine room machinery
• Supporting engineers with routine maintenance and repairs
• Monitoring machinery and reporting defects or abnormalities
• Maintaining engine room equipment and work areas
• Following vessel safety, HSE, and maintenance procedures
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Motorman
• GWO Working at Heights (WAH) certification
• Valid Chester Step Medical
• Valid UK Work Permit
• Previous offshore experience preferred
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant maritime documentation
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book
• Good English communication skills
