Job Description:
IPS Powerful People is looking for an experienced Motorman to join an offshore team working onboard a Jack-Up Vessel. The Motorman will play an important role in maintaining and repairing engine-room machinery and ensuring that vessel systems operate safely, reliably and efficiently.
The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic offshore environment, collaborate with an experienced crew and develop professionally within the maritime and offshore industry.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Performing essential maintenance and repairs on engine-room machinery and equipment.
Monitoring machinery and ensuring engine-room systems operate safely and efficiently.
Assisting with inspections, troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
Working closely with the engineering team and other crew members.
Supporting safe and efficient vessel operations in accordance with company procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW Basic Safety Training.
Valid BOSIET including HUET and CA-EBS.
Valid GWO Working at Heights certificate.
Valid UK FWP.
Previous experience onboard Jack-Up Vessels is preferred.
Relevant experience as a Motorman or in a similar engine-room position.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Good English communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of an offshore crew.
