Job Description:
A leading offshore recruitment company is seeking an experienced Motorman to join a Jack-Up Vessel operating in UK Waters. The successful candidate will assist the engineering department in maintaining and operating machinery to ensure safe and efficient offshore operations. The assignment is scheduled from 10 August 2026 to 18 September 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist engineers with the operation and maintenance of engine room equipment.
- Monitor machinery performance and report any abnormalities.
- Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of machinery.
- Maintain engine room cleanliness and safety standards.
- Support emergency response and follow company HSE procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
- Proficiency in English communication
- UK Frontier Worker Permit (FWP)
- BOSIET + CA-EBS
- GWO Sea Survival (SS)
- GWO Working at Heights (WAH)
- Chester Step Medical
- Previous experience as Motorman on offshore vessels or jack-up units
