Job Description:
Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (WRS) is currently seeking an experienced Motorman to join a Heavy Lift Vessel in the UK.
The successful candidate will support the engineering department with the operation, maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment onboard. The position requires immediate availability, with mobilisation scheduled for tomorrow and a contract duration of approximately 3 weeks.
Candidates must have valid UK working rights and hold all required maritime and offshore certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assisting engineers with maintenance and repair of engine room machinery and equipment.
Carrying out routine inspections and operational checks.
Supporting safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems onboard.
Maintaining engine room cleanliness and following safety procedures.
Assisting with planned and corrective maintenance activities.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Motorman onboard offshore vessels.
Valid Certificate of Competency (COC).
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid GWO Sea Survival (GWO SS) certificate.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Valid Seaman’s Book.
Valid Passport.
Must have valid UK Working Rights.
Good English communication skills.
