Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Motorman to join a Cable Lay Vessel DP2 for an upcoming offshore project.

The successful candidate will support the engineering department with machinery operation, maintenance and engine-room duties and must have strong previous experience on cable lay and DP vessels.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with operation and maintenance of machinery and technical systems.
• Carry out routine inspections, lubrication and planned maintenance.
• Support troubleshooting and repair activities.
• Maintain engine-room cleanliness and safe working conditions.
• Assist with machinery preparation for DP and offshore operations.
• Participate in toolbox talks, drills and emergency procedures.
• Follow all company HSE, safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Valid STCW III/5 qualification – mandatory.
• HUET with CA-EBS – mandatory.
• GWO Sea Survival (GWO SS) – mandatory.
• GWO Working at Heights (GWO WAH) – mandatory.
• Strong Cable Lay Vessel experience – mandatory.
• Strong DP vessel experience – mandatory.
• Relevant engine-room / Motorman experience.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Good command of English.
• Availability for late October / November 2026 mobilisation.
• Ability to work on a 6-week rotation.
