Job Description:
An urgent vacancy is available for a Motorman to join an accommodation vessel operating in South America, with immediate deployment required. The vessel supports offshore operations by providing living quarters and services for personnel working in the field. The role involves assisting in engine room operations, ensuring machinery runs efficiently, and supporting overall vessel functionality in a demanding offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with the operation and maintenance of engine room machinery
• Supporting engineers in daily maintenance and repair tasks
• Monitoring equipment performance and reporting any faults
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the engine room
• Ensuring compliance with offshore safety and operational procedures
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• COC (Certificate of Competency)
• BOSIET certification
• CSME certificate (mandatory)
• Valid passport
• Seaman’s book
