Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Offshore Medic to join our client's offshore vessel operating in European waters. This is a short-term assignment commencing 13 July and ending 11 August. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical care to offshore personnel, maintaining medical facilities and equipment onboard, and ensuring compliance with offshore health and safety standards. Candidates must hold the required offshore medical certifications and be ready to mobilize on the specified date.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Provide emergency and routine medical care to all personnel onboard.
Maintain medical records, supplies, and onboard medical equipment.
Conduct health assessments and support occupational health initiatives.
Assist with emergency response procedures and onboard safety drills.
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and offshore medical regulations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
DMA approval is mandatory.
Valid BOSIET/HUET certificate with CA-EBS.
Valid GWO certification is preferred (full GWO is an advantage but not mandatory).
Previous offshore experience as an Offshore Medic is preferred.
