Job Description:
iPS Powerful People is proactively building a global talent pool of certified Offshore Medics for upcoming international offshore projects. This role is not connected to a specific vacancy but is part of a long-term recruitment strategy to engage qualified medical professionals who are ready to mobilize when suitable projects arise.
As an Offshore Medic, you will act as the primary healthcare provider onboard, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all crew members during offshore operations. You will operate in remote and high-pressure environments, providing both emergency response and routine medical care. Project details, vessel type, and contract conditions will be confirmed once a matching opportunity becomes available.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to: • Providing first aid and emergency medical care during offshore operations
• Conducting routine health checks and maintaining accurate medical records
• Managing medical supplies, equipment, and ensuring full readiness
• Coordinating medical evacuations (medevac) when required
• Supporting safety drills and actively contributing to HSE initiatives
• Promoting health awareness, hygiene, and wellbeing onboard
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the position
• Valid Offshore Medical Certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Proven offshore experience as a Medic
• Recognized medical qualification (Nurse, Paramedic, or Medical Doctor)
• BOSIET or FOET certification
• Strong knowledge of emergency response, occupational health, and first aid
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Ability and willingness to work internationally in multicultural teams
