Job Description
We are recruiting a qualified Medic to provide onboard medical assistance and support the health and safety of personnel working on a Walk-to-Work vessel.
The successful candidate will assist with medical assessments, first aid, emergency response and the maintenance of medical supplies and records.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and medical assistance to crew and authorized personnel.
- Assess medical conditions and respond to onboard emergencies.
- Maintain medical equipment, supplies and first-aid facilities.
- Keep accurate and confidential medical records.
- Support onboard health, hygiene and wellbeing initiatives.
- Assist with emergency planning and medical drills.
- Coordinate with shore-based medical providers when required.
- Follow medical protocols, company procedures and applicable confidentiality requirements.
Requirements
- Brunei nationality – mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years / 24 months of relevant experience in the applied medical role or comparable position.
- Relevant medical qualification and professional registration / authorization to practise, as applicable.
- Valid medical and offshore documentation as required.
- Current first-aid and emergency-response qualifications appropriate to the role.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong clinical judgement, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective during medical emergencies.
