Location: North Sea
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Offshore Medic to join a Service Operation Vessel (SOV) operating in the North Sea. The Offshore Medic will be responsible for providing medical care, emergency response, health monitoring, and medical administration onboard, in compliance with offshore medical standards, company procedures, and UK offshore regulations.
This role is ideal for medical professionals with offshore experience, strong emergency response skills, and the ability to operate independently in a demanding offshore environment.
• Start Date: 24 February
• Initial Rotation: 2 weeks (first trip)
• Ongoing Rotation: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off
As per company policy, duties include but are not limited to:
• Providing primary and emergency medical care onboard
• Managing medical emergencies and trauma response
• Maintaining medical records and medical inventory
• Conducting health monitoring and fitness assessments
• Supporting crew wellbeing, including mental health awareness
• Ensuring compliance with offshore medical and safety standards
• Liaising with onshore medical providers when required
• Valid Passport & Seaman’s Book
• UK Right to Work (mandatory)
• Valid ENG1 Medical Certificate
• HUET or FOET with CA-EBS
• OPITO MIST or Basic Safety Training
• NMC Registered Nurse Licence
• Valid NMC PIN Number
• Full GWO Certification
• ACLS / BLS / ATLS
• MHFA – Mental Health First Aid
• OSEM / Vissim Offshore Energy Manager
• Shoulder Measurements
• Good level of English communication
