Job Description:
With extensive experience operating and managing offshore vessels and assets, OSM Thome is currently building a pool of experienced Pipe Lay Crew for upcoming international projects.
We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified offshore professionals to join our world-class team and support safe and efficient pipe-laying operations across multiple global locations.
Open Positions:
Deck Mechanic
Work Area: Offshore worldwide, on board various Pipe Lay Vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of offshore and deck equipment during pipe-lay and support activities
• Conducting operations in line with international maritime and safety regulations
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth vessel operations and project execution
• Participating in regular safety drills and adhering to OSM Thome’s HSE standards
• Performing maintenance, inspection, and reporting duties relevant to rank and department
Requirements:
• Valid STCW and offshore safety certificates (BOSIET / HUET / H2S)
• Valid offshore medical certificate
• Proven experience on Pipe Lay / Construction / Offshore Support Vessels
• Proficiency in English communication (spoken & written)
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
