Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Chief Mechanic to join a Pipelay Vessel starting on 27th April for an 8-week assignment. Candidates must hold valid offshore survival certification. For non-EU citizens, a valid Schengen visa is required. If you are interested and available, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy and position, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
· Supervision and coordination of all mechanical maintenance and repair activities onboard
· Routine inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of engines, pumps, hydraulic systems, and auxiliary machinery
· Management of mechanical spare parts, tools, and inventory
· Compliance with all safety management systems, permit-to-work procedures, and HSEQ requirements
· Liaising with the Chief Engineer and other department heads to ensure operational readiness

Requirements:
· BST / BOSIET (Basic Safety Training / Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training)
· Schengen visa (for non-EU citizens) – mandatory
· Valid STCW certificates as per rank
· Valid Medical Certificate (offshore)
· Valid Seaman's Book and Passport
· Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written)
· Experience: Proven experience as Chief Mechanic or similar senior mechanical role on pipelay vessels, offshore construction vessels, or similar
· Nationality requirement: Open to all nationalities; non-EU citizens must hold a valid Schengen visa
· Availability: Must be available to start on 27th April
