Job Description:

SWAR INDIA SHIPPING SERVICES PVT. LTD. is looking for an experienced and qualified Master to join a Research Vessel (GRT 1000).

The candidate must have extensive seagoing experience, including previous command experience. Strong knowledge of vessel operations, navigation, passage planning, crew management, emergency procedures, and HSE standards is essential.

Research vessel experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Overall command and safe navigation of the vessel.
• Managing onboard operations, crew supervision, and vessel administration.
• Planning and executing navigation routes and passage plans.
• Ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and HSE procedures.
• Coordinating vessel activities with owners' representatives and supporting research operations.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Minimum 8 years of seagoing experience, including Master/Command experience.
• Strong knowledge of navigation and vessel operations.
• Experience in emergency procedures and HSE management.
• Good knowledge of English communication.
• Previous research vessel experience preferred.
