Job Description

Sheffield Energies is seeking an experienced Master / Senior Dynamic Positioning Officer (DPO) to command a deepwater S-Lay pipelay and heavy crane construction vessel operating in international waters.

The successful candidate will oversee vessel operations, navigation, crew management and overall operational safety, ensuring compliance with company procedures and applicable maritime regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Master on offshore, pipelay, heavy-lift or construction vessels.
• Valid Master’s Certificate of Competency appropriate to the vessel and position.
• Valid DPO certification and relevant DP experience.
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant offshore certificates.
• Valid travel documents and seaman’s book.
• Strong leadership, navigational and safety-management skills.
• Good command of English.
• Availability to mobilize in December 2026, subject to client approval.
• Expatriate candidates preferred for officer positions.
