Job Description
We are recruiting an experienced Master to join a Self-Propelled Jack Up Barge DP2 operating in KSA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall command and safe operation of the vessel, ensuring compliance with company procedures, international maritime regulations and project requirements.
ARAMCO-approved candidates are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall command and responsibility for the safe navigation and operation of the vessel.
- Ensure safe and efficient deck, DP and offshore operations.
- Supervise and coordinate the deck and bridge teams.
- Ensure compliance with company SMS, safety and environmental procedures.
- Manage emergency response, drills and onboard safety standards.
- Maintain accurate vessel documentation and statutory records.
- Liaise with clients, project representatives and relevant authorities as required.
- Ensure the vessel remains compliant with applicable Saudi Aramco and project requirements.
Requirements
- Master Unlimited Certificate of Competency – mandatory.
- Minimum 24 months of actual onboard experience as Master on Self-Propelled Jack Up Barges – mandatory.
- Relevant DP2 vessel experience.
- Previous offshore experience in a similar position.
- ARAMCO approval preferred.
- Valid COC and Endorsement.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid medical certificate.
- Valid passport and Seaman’s Book.
- Good command of English.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Ability to join ASAP.
Employment Details
Wages: USD 1,540 per day
Contract Duration: 60 days on / 60 days off
