Job Description
A leading offshore maritime company is seeking an experienced Master to join a DP2 Jack-Up Barge operating in the UAE and Qatar.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall command of the vessel, including safe navigation, marine operations, crew management, and compliance with international maritime regulations and company procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Take overall command and responsibility for safe vessel operations
- Ensure safe navigation and efficient marine operations
- Supervise and manage the onboard crew
- Support DP2 and offshore jack-up operations
- Coordinate deck and marine activities with offshore project personnel
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and maritime regulations
- Conduct and oversee emergency drills, inspections, and safety meetings
- Maintain vessel documentation, certificates, and operational records
- Ensure the vessel remains operationally ready at all times
Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications
- Valid Master Unlimited Certificate of Competency (CoC)
- Valid Flag State Endorsement
- Valid STCW certification package
- Valid Medical Certificate
- Valid Passport
- Valid Seaman’s Book
- References from previous employers
Experience
- Minimum 18 months of actual onboard experience as Master
- Minimum 18 months of experience on Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barges
- Proven experience in the same rank and vessel type is required
- Previous DP2 / offshore experience preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and safety-management skills
Additional Requirement
- Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

- Salary: USD 1,430 per day
