Job Description
A leading maritime company is seeking an experienced Master to join a DP2 Jack-Up Barge operating in the UAE and Qatar.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall command of the vessel, safe navigation, marine operations, crew management, and compliance with international maritime regulations and company procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Take overall command and responsibility for safe vessel operations
- Manage bridge and marine operations onboard
- Ensure safe navigation and vessel positioning during DP2 operations
- Supervise and coordinate the onboard crew
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and maritime regulations
- Conduct and oversee safety drills, inspections, and emergency procedures
- Maintain vessel documentation, certificates, and operational records
- Coordinate with offshore project personnel and shore management
- Maintain operational readiness of the vessel and marine equipment
Requirements
- Valid Master Unlimited Certificate of Competency (CoC)
- Valid Flag State Endorsement
- Valid STCW certification package
- Minimum 18 months of actual onboard experience as Master
- Minimum 18 months of experience on Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barges
- Previous DP2 / offshore vessel experience preferred
- Valid passport
- Valid Seaman’s Book
- Valid Medical Certificate
- References from previous employers
- Updated CV with complete sea service history
- Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Good English communication skills
- Strong leadership, safety, and decision-making skills

- Employment Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 60 days on / 60 days off
- Joining Date: ASAP
- Salary: USD 1,430 per day
