Navis is currently recruiting an experienced Master to join a Jack Up Barge DP2 operating in the UAE and Qatar.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall safe operation of the vessel, including navigation, DP2 operations, offshore marine activities, crew management, and compliance with applicable maritime and company standards.
The position requires extensive experience as Master onboard Self-Propelled Jack Up Barges.

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Take overall command and responsibility for safe vessel and offshore operations
• Manage navigation, DP2 positioning, and marine operations
• Supervise and coordinate deck and marine crew
• Oversee offshore construction and marine activities
• Ensure compliance with Flag State, Class, ISM, STCW, and company procedures
• Conduct safety meetings, emergency drills, risk assessments, and inspections
• Maintain vessel operational readiness and accurate statutory documentation
• Valid Master Unlimited Certificate of Competency / License
• Minimum 18 months of actual onboard experience in the rank of Master on Self-Propelled Jack Up Barges
• Proven experience on DP2 vessels
• Valid COC and Endorsement
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid Passport
• Valid Seaman’s Book with complete sea-service records
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Good English communication skills
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and offshore safety-management skills

• Salary: USD 1,430 per day
