Navis is recruiting an experienced Master to join a Jack Up Barge DP2 operating in the UAE and Qatar.
The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the safe navigation, marine operations, crew management, and offshore performance of the vessel. The position requires extensive experience on self-propelled Jack Up Barges and strong knowledge of DP2 operations, offshore safety, and marine regulations.

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Take overall command and responsibility for safe vessel and offshore operations
• Manage navigation, DP2 operations, positioning, and marine activities
• Supervise deck and marine crew and ensure effective crew management
• Ensure compliance with Flag State, Class, ISM, STCW, and company requirements
• Oversee emergency preparedness, drills, safety management, and risk assessments
• Coordinate offshore operations and maintain vessel operational readiness
• Valid Master Unlimited Certificate of Competency / License
• Minimum 18 months of actual onboard experience in the rank of Master on Self-Propelled Jack Up Barges
• Proven experience on DP2 vessels
• Valid COC and Endorsement
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid Passport
• Valid Seaman’s Book with complete sea service records
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Good English communication skills
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and safety management skills

• Contract Rotation: 60 days ON / 60 days OFF
• Salary: USD 1,430 per day
