Master on Jack Up Barge DP2 (UAE/Qatar)

Location: UAE / Qatar

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Master to join a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge DP2 operating in the UAE/Qatar area.

The candidate must hold a valid Master’s Unlimited License and have a minimum of 18 months of actual onboard experience on a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge in the rank of Master.

The position is offered on a 60 days on / 60 days off rotation with a daily rate of USD 1,430. The joining date is ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Overall command and safe operation of the vessel
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, maritime regulations, and safety procedures
• Supervising deck operations and onboard personnel
• Ensuring safe navigation and DP operations in accordance with vessel procedures
• Maintaining vessel documentation, logs, and required reports

Requirements:
• Valid Master’s Unlimited License / CoC
• Valid CoC Endorsement
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Minimum 18 months of actual onboard experience on a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge as Master
• Valid passport and seaman’s book with documented sea service
• References from previous employers
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Proficiency in English communication
