Job Description
We are recruiting an experienced Master to join a Self-Propelled Jack Up Barge DP2 operating on offshore projects in the UAE / Qatar region.
The successful candidate will have proven command experience on self-propelled Jack Up Barges and will be responsible for the overall safe navigation, operation and management of the vessel and crew.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall command and responsibility for safe vessel operations.
- Ensure safe navigation and offshore vessel operations.
- Supervise and coordinate deck and bridge personnel.
- Maintain compliance with company SMS, HSE and environmental procedures.
- Oversee vessel readiness, maintenance and operational activities.
- Manage emergency response, drills and safety meetings.
- Maintain required statutory and operational documentation.
- Liaise with clients, offshore project representatives and authorities as required.
Requirements
- Master Unlimited Certificate of Competency – mandatory.
- Minimum 18 months of actual onboard experience as Master on Self-Propelled Jack Up Barges – mandatory.
- Relevant DP2 vessel experience.
- Valid COC and applicable Endorsement.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid Seaman's Book.
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
- Valid passport.
- Good command of English.
- Strong leadership, safety and offshore operational skills.
- Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Availability to join ASAP.
Employment Details
Wage: USD 1,430 per day
Contract Duration: 60 days on / 60 days off

Salary Basis: Daily rate
