Job Description
A leading offshore marine company is currently seeking an experienced Master to join a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge DP2 operating on offshore projects in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe command and operation of the vessel, overseeing Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations, offshore project support, navigation, crew management, and ensuring full compliance with international maritime regulations and company operational standards.
This opportunity is ideal for Masters with extensive Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge experience who are looking for a long-term offshore assignment in the Middle East.

Job Responsibilities
- Maintain overall command and safe operation of the vessel
- Supervise Dynamic Positioning (DP) and offshore operations
- Coordinate vessel activities with offshore installation and project teams
- Ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, and company HSE procedures
- Manage vessel crew, operational planning, and onboard safety
- Conduct emergency drills, safety meetings, and risk assessments
- Maintain operational readiness of navigation, DP, and safety equipment
- Prepare voyage reports, operational records, and statutory documentation
Requirements
General Requirements
- Valid Master Unlimited Certificate of Competency (CoC) with Flag State Endorsement
- Valid STCW 2010 certification package
- Minimum 18 months of actual onboard experience as Master on a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge
- Previous experience onboard DP2 Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barges
- Valid passport
- Valid seaman's book
- Valid medical certificate
- References from previous employers
- Updated CV with complete sea service history
- Copies of all seaman's book pages confirming sea service
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Excellent English communication skills
- Strong leadership, offshore operational, and safety management skills
- Physically and medically fit for offshore service

- Salary: USD 1,430 per day
