Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Chief Engineer to join an AHTS DP2 vessel operating in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel’s engineering systems and must have extensive experience in rank on similar DP vessels.
ADNOC-approved candidates are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Managing and supervising all engine-room operations and maintenance activities.
- Ensuring safe and reliable operation of main and auxiliary machinery.
- Maintaining compliance with company, STCW, and applicable maritime safety requirements.
- Supervising engineering crew and coordinating planned maintenance.
- Supporting DP operations and ensuring machinery readiness for offshore operations.
Requirements:
- Valid Chief Engineer’s License.
- Valid DPVM Certificate.
- Minimum 24 months of actual onboard experience as Chief Engineer on similar AHTS DP2 vessels.
- Minimum 1,000 DP hours.
- ADNOC approval is preferred.
- Valid COC, Endorsement, and all applicable STCW certificates.
- Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book.
- Valid Medical Certificate.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Relevant references from previous employers.
