Job Description:
An experienced Multicat Master/Mate is required to join a vessel on a permanent basis. The current project involves barge handling operations, although future project scopes may vary.
The position is offered on a 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation. Candidates should have proven experience working onboard Multicats or Tugboats and hold a Master 500GT CoC.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Safely operate and navigate the Multicat vessel according to company procedures.
Support barge handling, towing, mooring, and associated marine operations.
Carry out navigational watchkeeping and maintain safe vessel operations.
Ensure compliance with maritime, safety, and environmental regulations.
Assist with deck operations and project activities as required.
Requirements:
Master 500GT CoC.
Previous experience onboard Tugboats or Multicat vessels.
Previous experience in barge handling is advantageous.
DP certification would be advantageous.
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
Valid Seaman's Book and Passport.
UK Work Permit / Right to Work in the UK – mandatory.
Good English communication skills.
Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently.
