Job Description

OSM Thome Offshore is seeking an experienced Master to join an upcoming Accommodation W2W DP2 vessel project in Brunei. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall command, safe navigation, and operational management of the vessel, ensuring compliance with company procedures and applicable maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Take overall command of the vessel and ensure the safety of crew, passengers, and equipment.
• Oversee vessel navigation, positioning, and marine operations.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company safety standards.
• Coordinate with offshore project personnel and support W2W operations.
• Supervise the vessel’s operational readiness and prepare for project delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 18–24 months of experience as Master on the same type of vessel.
• Appropriate Master’s Certificate of Competency and required endorsements.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and seafarer’s documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and safety-management skills.
• DP-related qualifications appropriate to the vessel and position.
