Master for Tug Boat (Nigeria)

Location: Malta – Nigeria

Job Description:
Nord Crewing is urgently recruiting an experienced Master to join a tugboat for a delivery voyage from Malta to Nigeria. The candidate should have previous experience on tugboats, workboats or offshore vessels and be able to ensure the safe navigation and operation of the vessel throughout the voyage.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Safe navigation and watchkeeping during the delivery voyage
• Overall command and management of the vessel
• Supervision of deck operations, mooring and anchoring
• Ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and onboard HSE procedures
• Emergency response and safe operation of the vessel

Requirements:

• Previous experience on tugboats, workboats or offshore vessels
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) as Master
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and leadership skills
• Availability for urgent mobilisation
