Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Master to join a Survey Vessel operating on worldwide assignments. This is an urgent opportunity offering a stable 2 months ON / 2 months OFF rotation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe navigation, operation, and management of the vessel while ensuring efficient survey operations, compliance with international maritime regulations, and effective coordination with the onboard survey team and multinational crew.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Ensure the safe navigation and overall command of the Survey Vessel.
Manage vessel operations in compliance with international maritime regulations and company procedures.
Coordinate daily operations with survey personnel to support project objectives.
Supervise deck officers and crew, ensuring safe and efficient vessel performance.
Maintain vessel documentation, operational records, and safety management systems.
Conduct emergency drills and ensure full compliance with onboard HSE policies.
Requirements:
Valid STCW II/2 Master Certificate of Competency (CoC).
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Minimum 2 years of experience as Master onboard Survey Vessels.
Previous experience working with multinational crews, preferably European crews.
Excellent English communication skills.
Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
