Master for Self-Elevating Offshore Unit

Job Description

An experienced Master is required to join a Self-Elevating Offshore Unit in China. The Master will have overall responsibility for the safe operation of the unit, navigation, crew management, marine operations, and compliance with company and international maritime requirements.

The project is scheduled to start in October 2026. Previous Jack-Up experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining overall command and responsibility for safe marine operations.
• Managing the vessel/unit's crew and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Supervising navigation, marine operations, safety, and emergency preparedness.
• Ensuring compliance with flag-state, international, and offshore regulations.
• Coordinating operational activities with the offshore project team.

Requirements

• EU nationals only.
• Cyprus Endorsement – mandatory.
• Valid Master CoC appropriate to rank.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid BOSIET / FOET (OPITO).
• Valid OEUK Medical.
• Previous Jack-Up / Self-Elevating Unit experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English communication.
