Master for Research Vessel (Qatar)

Job Description:
Seaworks Company is recruiting an experienced Master to join a research vessel operating in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe navigation and overall operation of the vessel, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations, company procedures, and onboard safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Ensure safe navigation and overall command of the vessel.
• Manage deck operations and onboard crew.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and company procedures.
• Coordinate vessel operations in support of research activities.
• Maintain high standards of safety and emergency preparedness.

Requirements:

• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) as Master.
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant endorsements.
• Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant experience in a similar position.
• Previous research vessel experience is preferred.
• Good English communication skills.
