Job Description

Nimbus Marine Group is seeking an experienced Master to join an Offshore Construction Vessel operating in Sabah, Malaysia, for an upcoming assignment scheduled between November 2026 and January 2027.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall command, safe operation, and management of the vessel and its crew.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Ensure the safe navigation and overall operation of the vessel.
• Manage and supervise the vessel’s officers and crew.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, company procedures, and safety requirements.
• Oversee emergency preparedness, drills, and onboard safety practices.
• Coordinate vessel operations with the offshore project team and relevant parties.

Requirements

• Class 1 Deck Certificate of Competency (CoC).
• Previous experience as Master on offshore vessels is strongly preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and seafarer’s documents.
• Good English communication skills.
• Availability for the November 2026 – January 2027 assignment.
• Sabahan crew candidates are sought for this opportunity.
