Job Description:
Star Sea Management is urgently recruiting an experienced Master for offshore vessel operations in UAE / KSA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall command and safe operation of the vessel, including navigation, crew management, cargo and deck operations, safety compliance and coordination with offshore clients and project personnel.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the rank of Master, including a minimum of 6 months of experience on LCT, AHTS, SSRV or DSV vessels. A National Master COC Unlimited is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Taking overall command and responsibility for the safe operation of the vessel.
Managing navigation, bridge operations and vessel manoeuvring.
Supervising crew, deck operations and onboard safety procedures.
Ensuring compliance with company, flag-state and offshore operational requirements.
Coordinating vessel activities with clients, offshore installations and project teams.
Maintaining vessel documentation, records and operational reports.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as Master.
Minimum 6 months of experience on LCT / AHTS / SSRV / DSV vessels.
National Master COC Unlimited – mandatory.
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Relevant offshore certificates applicable to the vessel and assignment.
Previous UAE / KSA offshore experience is an advantage.
