Job Description
An offshore vessel operator is urgently seeking an experienced Master to join a Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) supporting offshore energy operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe navigation and operation of the vessel, crew management, offshore personnel transfers, voyage planning, and compliance with all maritime and company safety regulations.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced CTV Masters seeking immediate deployment within the offshore wind and marine support sector.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain full command and responsibility for vessel operations
Ensure safe navigation and offshore personnel transfer activities
Conduct voyage planning and operational risk assessments
Supervise vessel crew and onboard operations
Maintain compliance with maritime regulations and company procedures
Monitor vessel performance and operational readiness
Conduct safety drills and emergency response exercises
Coordinate daily operations with offshore clients and project teams
Requirements
Valid Master Certificate of Competency (CoC)
Valid STCW certification package
Previous Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) experience preferred
FURUNO ECDIS certification or experience
UK FSE certification (or eligibility to obtain one with a valid Marlins test)
Valid passport and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong leadership and vessel management skills
Ability to work safely in offshore environments
