Job Description:
A leading offshore operator is seeking an experienced Master to join an ASD Tug operating in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe navigation and overall management of the vessel, ensuring efficient towing and harbor support operations. This opportunity offers a stable 2-month rotation for qualified Masters with proven ASD tug experience.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Command and safely navigate the ASD Tug during offshore and harbor operations.
Supervise towing, maneuvering, and vessel handling activities.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and international maritime regulations.
Manage onboard crew and maintain high standards of safety and operational efficiency.
Coordinate with port authorities, clients, and shore management during vessel operations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
National Master CoC Unlimited (Mandatory)
Minimum 2 years of experience as Master
Minimum 6 months of experience on ASD Tugs
Strong offshore towing and vessel handling experience
