Job Description:
A qualified and experienced Master is required to join an ASD Tug Boat (Non-DP) operating in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe navigation and overall command of the vessel, ensuring compliance with company procedures and applicable maritime regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Taking overall command and responsibility for the safe operation of the vessel.
- Navigating and maneuvering the ASD Tug Boat safely during offshore operations.
- Supervising deck and marine operations onboard.
- Ensuring compliance with company safety procedures and maritime regulations.
- Managing the crew and maintaining effective communication onboard.
- Conducting emergency drills and ensuring crew readiness.
- Maintaining required vessel and safety documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tug Master on offshore vessels.
- At least 6 months of experience on the same type of vessel.
- National Master CoC Unlimited / with applicable limitations.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Relevant experience on ASD Tug Boats is required.
