Job Description:
A reputable offshore operator is seeking an experienced Master to join an AHTS vessel for an upcoming offshore project. The project is expected to commence in the middle of August (subject to confirmation) with a 5-week rotation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maneuvering, towing, and anchor handling operations on offshore support vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Safely command and navigate the AHTS vessel during offshore operations.
Supervise towing, anchor handling, and vessel maneuvering activities.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and international maritime regulations.
Lead and manage the onboard crew while maintaining high safety standards.
Coordinate with offshore clients and shore management to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Master Certificate of Competency (CoC)
Proven FPP tug experience
Experience in maneuvering, towing, and anchor handling
Strong offshore operational background
