Master for AHTS Non-DP Vessel

Job Description:

SSM Maritime Services Inc. is inviting applications from experienced Masters to command a non-DP Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel. The Master will be responsible for the overall safety of the vessel, crew, and operations, including anchor-handling activities and offshore support operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Command the vessel and ensure safe navigation and operational readiness.
• Supervise anchor-handling, towing, and offshore supply operations.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and company procedures.
• Manage the crew and oversee onboard safety and emergency preparedness.
• Maintain vessel records and coordinate with shore management.

Requirements:

• Relevant Master’s Certificate of Competency.
• Previous experience as Master on AHTS vessels, preferably non-DP.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
