Job Description

Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Safe operation and navigation of the vessel
• Supporting marine research and scientific operations
• Maintenance of vessel machinery, technical systems, and equipment
• Compliance with safety, environmental, and maritime regulations
• Collaboration with onboard scientists, technicians, and vessel crew
Requirements
• Italian nationality preferred (as specified by the employer)
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Good English communication skills
• Relevant certificates, licenses, and endorsements for the position applied for
• Previous experience in a similar rank is preferred
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary research environment
