Job Description:
TOS People is currently recruiting an experienced Barge Master to join a Split Hopper Barge operating in the UK. The position is offered on a Polish contract with a 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off rotation. Joining is planned for September 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company and vessel requirements, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Managing and supervising barge operations
• Ensuring safe navigation and efficient vessel operations
• Supervising deck activities and crew performance
• Ensuring compliance with maritime, safety, and company procedures
• Maintaining required vessel documentation and operational records
Requirements:
• Valid II/2 COC
• Previous experience as a Barge Master
• Experience on Split Hopper Barges is required
• English language proficiency at B2 level
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant maritime documents
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Availability to join in September 2026
