Job Description:
iPS Powerful People is proactively building a global talent pool of experienced Rigger Foremen for upcoming international offshore projects. This role is not connected to a specific vacancy but forms part of a long-term recruitment strategy to engage skilled professionals who are ready to mobilize when suitable projects arise.
As a Rigger Foreman, you will work in challenging offshore environments, supervising rigging operations and leading teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of offshore activities. Project details, vessel type, and contract conditions will be confirmed once a matching opportunity becomes available.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to: • Leading and coordinating rigging teams during offshore operations
• Ensuring strict compliance with safety procedures, HSE standards, and operational guidelines
• Conducting toolbox talks, pre-task briefings, and safety inspections
• Inspecting, maintaining, and ensuring correct use of rigging equipment and tools
• Coordinating with deck crews, crane operators, and other departments
• Promoting a safety-first culture and actively contributing to HSE initiatives
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the position
• Valid Offshore Medical Certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Proven offshore experience in the role of Rigger Foreman
• Recognized rigging qualifications
• BOSIET or FOET certification
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
• Ability to work internationally within multicultural teams
• Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
