Job Description

Sheffield Energies is seeking a qualified Mechanical FMN for a deepwater pipelay and heavy crane construction vessel.

The successful candidate will support mechanical maintenance and equipment reliability in accordance with assigned duties, onboard procedures and applicable safety requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant mechanical experience in the offshore, marine or construction industry preferred.
• Previous experience on pipelay, heavy-lift or offshore construction vessels is an advantage.
• Relevant technical qualifications and certificates for the position.
• Valid STCW and offshore certificates, where applicable.
• Valid travel documents and seaman’s book.
• Good maintenance, troubleshooting and teamwork skills.
• Good command of English.
• Availability for mobilization in December 2026, subject to client approval.
