Job Description

We are currently recruiting an experienced Deck Foreman to join an offshore cable lay project in the North Sea. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in overseeing deck operations related to subsea cable installation and associated offshore activities.

This position requires extensive cable lay experience and strong knowledge of offshore safety standards and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate deck crew during cable lay operations
• Ensure safe handling, deployment, and recovery of subsea cables
• Oversee lifting operations and deck activities
• Ensure compliance with company Safety Management System
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Monitor deck equipment performance and maintenance requirements
• Liaise with vessel management and project team
• Maintain high safety and operational standards at all times

Requirements:

• Extensive offshore cable lay experience (mandatory)
• Previous experience in supervisory deck role preferred
• Valid STCW Basic Safety Training (BST)
• Valid STCW Designated Security Duties (DSD)
• Valid BOSIET with CA-EBS
• Valid GWO Working at Height (WAH)
• Valid GWO Sea Survival (SS)
• Valid offshore medical certificate
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• European Nationals only (due to project requirements)

• Start Date: 03.03.2026
• Rotation: 5 Weeks On / 5 Weeks Off (Set Rotations)
• Contract Type: Offshore Project-Based
• Salary: Competitive, based on experience
