Job Description:

SWAR INDIA SHIPPING SERVICES PVT. LTD. is recruiting an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join a Research Vessel (GRT 1000).

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of marine electrical / ETO experience, with strong technical knowledge of generators, switchboards, motors, automation systems, sensors, and alarms.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining and troubleshooting onboard electrical and electronic systems.
• Monitoring generators, switchboards, motors, and automation equipment.
• Inspecting electrical installations, sensors, alarms, and control systems.
• Carrying out preventive maintenance and electrical repairs.
• Ensuring compliance with electrical safety and isolation procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Minimum 5 years of marine electrical / ETO experience.
• Experience with generators, switchboards, and electric motors.
• Knowledge of automation systems, sensors, and alarms.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and isolation procedures.
• Good knowledge of English communication.
