Navis is recruiting an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to join a Self-Propelled Jack Up Barge DP2 operating in Qatar.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, automation, and Dynamic Positioning-related systems onboard. The position requires extensive DP2/DP3 experience, with self-propelled jack-up barge experience strongly preferred.

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems
• Support operation and maintenance of DP systems and associated equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and technical systems
• Monitor power generation, distribution, alarms, and automation systems
• Maintain accurate technical records and planned maintenance documentation
• Support safe offshore and jack-up barge operations
• Participate in emergency drills and onboard safety procedures
• Valid Electro Technical Officer (ETO) Certificate of Competency / License
• Valid DP Maintenance Certificate
• Minimum 48 months of actual onboard experience on DP2/DP3 vessels
• Preferably minimum 12 months of actual experience onboard Self-Propelled Jack Up Barges in the rank of ETO
• Valid COC and Endorsement
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Passport
• Valid Seaman’s Book with complete sea service records
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Good English communication skills
• Strong electrical, automation, and DP troubleshooting skills

• Salary: USD 420 per day
