ETO on Self-propelled Jack Up Barge DP2(Qatar)

Location: Qatar

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to join a Self-Propelled Jack Up Barge DP2 operating in Qatar.

The position is offered on a 60 days on / 60 days off rotation, with an ASAP joining date. The daily rate is USD 400 per day.

The successful candidate must have relevant experience working on DP vessels, with experience on Self-Propelled Jack Up Barges considered preferable.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintaining and troubleshooting the vessel’s electrical and electronic systems
• Supporting the safe and reliable operation of DP and vessel automation systems
• Carrying out electrical maintenance and repairs in accordance with company procedures
• Monitoring and maintaining electrical equipment and machinery
• Ensuring compliance with vessel safety and operational procedures

Requirements:
• Valid Electro Technical Officer (ETO) License
• Valid DP Maintenance Certificate
• Valid COC and Endorsement
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical certificate
• Minimum 36 months of experience on DP2 / DP3 vessels
• Preferably 12 months of actual onboard experience on Self-Propelled Jack Up Barges in the rank of ETO
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Proficiency in English communication
